It’s been a while here at EmoCatLove, but lots of fun things have happened since James’ last post.
First things first we just adopted a new kitten for Bear to (learn to) hang with- his name is Buddy.
Buddy is 10 months old, and does what you’d expect a 10 month old kitten to do. He mainly keeps us awake at night and waits for food to be placed into his bowl, or fall onto the floor. I watched him frantically eat kitty litter this afternoon, the same litter that fell out of his box. He was mainly trying to beat Bear to the chase, not taking the time to inspect the nugget on the floor.
I keep checking the food label to make sure I’m not underfeeding him because I feel like I am based on how much he begs. Bear has been eating more and I’m certain it’s out of fear that buddy will consume both of their helpings in one sitting.
Bear licks Buddy and is making a solid effort to welcome him into his home.
Welcome home Buddy, please let us sleep tonight?!
